Curriculum

The Foundations

Communication, Social Skills, Relationship Building, Team Building, Leadership

These skills are so fundamental to our society that without them a child will often feel inadequate and foolish - especially among their peers.

Effective communication skills allows the child to talk about their feelings, actions and understanding of a subject without resorting to shouting and interrupting others.

Social skills like simply waiting for their turn, or saying "please" and "thank you" shows that the child is considerate of others and he/she understands that they are not the center of attention - all the time!

Without learning how to work as part of a team / group the child does not learn when to let somebody else finish what they are saying - before speaking. They will be unable to listen to somebody else's ideas and evaluate them without bias.

The rest of our curriculum speaks for itself - we educate the whole person not just the left brain, or the right brain (analytical or creative)
