Foundations First Schools admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, loan programs, athletic and other school-administered programs.
Foundations First Schools is an approved 501c3 (non-profit) education system created to provide an opportunity for children to learn the life skills necessary to function expertly in their environment and pursue academics and the performing arts with excellence.
Many children lack social, communication and life skills due to the recent pandemic lockdown and the continual pressure of performance monitoring by existing education systems.
This environment has created mental and emotional challenges for many children.
There is little time in classrooms to allow children to grow into functioning human beings who are then capable of managing the challenges of academic education while developing their own unique talents and interests in sports and the performing arts.
For these reasons, our founding faculty have brought together "Foundations First Schools" with a system of education that is fluid and dynamic.
We must teach children how to flourish in a relational environment using social, communication and community skills they need to function and excel in today's fast-paced, competitive world.
It is only with this foundation that academics, sports and performing arts achievements then become a simple matter of learning - when they know how to effectively interact and relate to fellow students and teachers.
School Funding
To avoid the same pitfalls that some public and charter school systems are experiencing, Foundations First is a private, not-for-profit organization deriving income from tuition fees, private grants and corporate sponsorships.
It is our dream that our corporate community will partner with Foundations First by funding tuition assistance programs that allow students from all income-levels to participate in our ground-breaking school system.
A "Strong Foundation" births a "Strong Future" - for the student, the family and for corporate America - including those who aspire to become leaders of this country.
Serving grades PreK - 8
If you are inquiring for multiple children, check all grades that apply. We will be adding grades 4-8 in successive school years.
To build Foundations First with relationship skills, social skills, life skills, and communication skills to support the ongoing and successful pursuit of core academic subjects and the performing arts.
The classroom can be a place of high activity and sometimes might appear to "outsiders" to be quite chaotic, but only highly qualified and EXPERIENCED teachers lead our students in the classroom. We do our best to make sure that we follow state requirements in our hiring. Teachers that are qualified to be teachers will be educating your children.
